ACETONE
Acetone is used in paint, varnish, solvents, and cleaning fluids and is the primary
chemical agent used in many nail polish removers. It is an irritant with a characteristic
sweet odor. If inhaled, cough and bronchial irritation, along with depressed respirations,
may occur. Skin contact can cause peeling and splitting of nails and skin rashes.
